Pamela Michienzi
Registered Psychotherapist / Registered Art Therapist
Pamela is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a Registered Art Therapist with the Ontario Art Therapy Association (OATA). She completed her Post-Graduate Diploma in Art Therapy and her Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts, with a minor in Psychology, at the University of Western Ontario. Pamela also holds a Fundamentals in Addiction certification from Fanshawe College.
Warm-hearted and empathetic, Pamela believes that each person holds within themselves the unlimited potential to overcome life’s challenges and achieve personal, professional, and relationship goals. She provides a space that encourages a compassionate and accepting understanding of one’s own life experiences and emphasizes a holistic approach to wellness—focusing on developing individual strengths as the foundation for growth.
Pamela offers talk-based psychotherapy, art therapy, and play-based approaches. She has extensive experience in the addictions and mental health field, with a particular focus on youth and young adults. She also works closely with families, helping them improve communication, understand behaviours, and strengthen connection within the family system.
Pamela supports children, youth, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and identities. She believes that healing is not a one-size-fits-all process and offers a holistic, creative, and person-centered approach that honors the whole individual—not just the issue. Her goal is to help each person reconnect with their inner strength and move toward greater self-awareness and understanding, a sense of balance and greater well-being.
